The secret of oldstone hall

Pete and Nicky go on holiday in December at Oldstone Hall. It’s cold at midnight. Annie Appleton-White lives in the house with her dogs. The dog’s names are Football and Snowy. They can’t sleep because there are two men in the attic.
The next day Mr Bigwig visits Annie with his sons. He wants the house because there is a secret in it. They go into the garden and read a book.
“Find a stone man, not his daughter.
Turn his head to stop the water.
Then down the steps, one, two, three,
And pull the hand that you can see”.
They go under the ground in a secret room.
The room is full of gold and silver things. The three men steal the gold and silver things. The dogs stop the men, the police take the men away, and Annie, Pete and Nicky have a wonderful meal.
